We are working hard testing products and getting feedback so we can feature the best of the best!

Reflective Clothing and Gear

This category focuses on passive, 360-degree visibility that requires no batteries or power source to function. It serves as your primary fail-safe layer, ensuring you remain visible to motorists through retro-reflective technology even if your active electronics fail.

LED and Lighting

Active lighting acts as your “Early Warning System” to project your presence to traffic and illuminate environmental hazards on the path. By combining high-lumen headlamps with wearable LEDs, you eliminate “blind spots” and ensure you can navigate technical terrain safely after dark.

Either training at night, tackling a 24 hour ultra is not possible without a trusted headlamp or wearable LED light source. Two never leave home without: My headlamp from Fenix (Fenix HM50R) and my wearable LED Clips from Amazon.

Packs and Belts

Packs and running belts are the “mobile server racks” of your run, engineered to carry essential safety tools without compromising your ergonomics. A properly fitted pack ensures that emergency gear, communication devices, and medical supplies are always within reach during an incident.

The right running pack or running belt can be the difference maker between having what you need or not. Storage, fitment and essential items all easily accessible for the job at hand. For short runs I use my Amazon Run Belt and for races my UltrAspire lite pack is my go to!

Nutrition and Hydration

Proper nutrition and Hydration are critical for thermal regulation and maintaining the physiological balance required for long-distance survival. Maintaining your fueling prevents the cognitive fog and physical exhaustion that lead to poor decision-making and increased injury risk on the trail. In addition to a consistent supply of fluids and electrolytes, preventing the dehydration-related “system outages” that can turn a routine run into a medical emergency.
