For years, my training logs have been filled with not just mileage, but lessons learned the hard way. From dead headlamps at mile 50 of the Anchor Down Ultra to dealing with unexpected weather changes in the middle of nowhere, I’ve seen firsthand how quickly a “perfect” run can go wrong.
